ADB or the Android Debug Bridge is an essential tool for Android developers. ADB helps access their devices in debug mode. This installer leads you through the download process. You are given options to for Fast boot and Drivers. This installer helps direct download ADB, fast boot and ADB drivers. With this process, you will not need to download the complete Android SDK. The download process is completely automated. With this tool you will get ADB downloaded as also the available Google drivers from the latest SDK. Besides downloading ADB, the latest drivers it is able to detect 32 or 64 bit versions. The complete process takes only about 20 seconds. It obtains the components from the proper source, the original Google SDK source. The complete process would start with download of the installer. You then run it with administrator privileges.
Select the option for download of ADB/Fastboot by choosing (Y/N), if you need it. Next option is a similar selection for current user only. Driver selection also can be made at the next option request. The whole process being automatic, the user does not have to do anything really. The developers provide troubleshooting processes should the download fail. The obvious first check would be if you are on-line and your Internet connection is working. “adb-installer.log” logs events during the download process; this will need to be checked for any messages.
